What's NOT included in the price?
The Made Glow price covers the service, kit, sanitization, travel within the pro's service area, insurance, and platform protections. See the full inclusion list. Here's what's NOT included:
Tip
Always optional, never auto-added. Most clients tip 18–22% — see our tipping guidance for the full breakdown. 100% of any tip goes to the pro.
Travel fees outside the service area
Each pro sets a home service radius (typically 25–30 minutes). If your address is outside that radius, the pro may add a small travel surcharge — usually $20 to $50, shown on their profile before you book. The surcharge covers extra fuel and time, not service quality.
Parking and building fees
A few luxury buildings (notably the Setai, Continuum, Faena, and St. Regis Bal Harbour) charge guest-vendor parking or service-elevator access fees. The pro will note this in chat and add it to your final total. Most South Beach hotel parking is absorbed by the pro; only the named exceptions pass through.
Custom hair color match
If you want a hair-color match to a specific reference photo (rather than a pre-set tone), some colorists charge a $25–$50 color-mixing fee. This is shown when you book the service and only applies to color matches outside their standard tone palette.
Hair extensions
The application is included; the hair itself is not. Pros sell extension hair from their stocked inventory ($150–$1,200 depending on length and grade) or you can supply your own. Discussed in chat before the appointment.
Specialty product upgrades
A few skincare and hair pros offer optional product upgrades — premium peel solutions, professional bond builders, branded retinol courses. Always optional, always priced separately, and only applied with your consent during the appointment.
Damage or replacement
Made Glow's $1M liability policy covers damage caused by the pro to your property or person. It does NOT cover incidental wear (a chipped manicure on day 4, a lash that falls out at week 2). For those, the pro's own re-touch policy applies — usually a free fix within the first 7 days.
Always shown before you book
Every fee is shown on the booking screen and in chat before you confirm. There are no surprises charged after the appointment.
