Does Made Glow carry insurance?

Yes. Every Made Glow booking is covered by a $1 million general liability policy plus professional liability for the specific service performed. Both clients and pros are protected — coverage is automatic with every confirmed booking.

Made Glow carries platform-wide insurance that protects both clients and pros on every confirmed booking. No paperwork to file — coverage is automatic.

What's covered

  • $1 million general liability per occurrence — bodily injury or property damage caused by the pro during the service. Example: a hair-color stain on a couch, a client's accidental burn from a curling iron.
  • $1 million professional liability ("errors and omissions") per occurrence — service-quality damages above what a refund covers. Example: a chemical reaction during a facial that requires medical treatment.
  • $5 million annual aggregate across both lines.
  • Made Glow trust-and-safety response — within 4 hours during business hours, immediately for after-hours emergencies. We assist with claims even if they fall under your own homeowner's or auto insurance.

What's NOT covered

  • Tip and service-fee disputes — those go through our refund process, not insurance.
  • Cosmetic dissatisfaction not involving injury or damage. Example: a haircut you don't like (covered under our satisfaction guarantee, not insurance).
  • Pre-existing medical conditions the client didn't disclose during intake. Example: a known allergic reaction to a product family the pro asked about.
  • Off-platform bookings. Coverage only applies when the booking is paid through the Made Glow app. If a pro asks you to pay outside the app, coverage doesn't apply — and it's a violation of pro terms; please report it.

How to file a claim

Email [email protected] with photos and a description of what happened. The trust-and-safety team responds within 4 business hours and either resolves directly (small property damage) or routes to our underwriter for larger claims. Most claims are resolved in 30 days; complex medical claims can take 60–90 days.

What happens to the pro

The pro is protected by the same policy — they're an additional insured. We don't pursue subrogation against pros for incidents covered under the policy. Repeated incidents from the same pro do trigger a trust-and-safety review and possible removal.

Underwriter

The policy is underwritten by an A-rated commercial carrier and is a standard mobile-services platform policy. Certificate of Insurance is available on request to [email protected] for clients who need it for venue or HOA documentation.
