Made Glow is a supply-first marketplace. Florida's beauty pros — independent stylists, makeup artists, estheticians, nail techs, and licensed massage therapists — are who we're building for. We work with the schools that train them, the salons they grew up in, and the brands they trust, to make the marketplace the best place to start, scale, and stay independent.

Beauty schools

We work with Florida's cosmetology, esthetics, nail, and massage-therapy programs as a post-licensure placement option for their alumni. Every licensed graduate gets a free Made Glow Pro account, a "New Grad" badge on their consumer profile, and a real client base from week one of their license. No application fee. No booth-rental gauntlet. Students can pre-register but cannot accept paid bookings until their FL DBPR or DOH license issues.

Beauty schools — placement, on a marketplace.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, more than half of personal-care services workers in the United States are self-employed, and that share is even higher among recently-licensed cosmetology and esthetics graduates. Most new licensees pay for booth rental for months before they have a steady book of clients. Made Glow is the alternative — but only for those who have actually passed the Florida DBPR or DOH licensure exam. Florida law requires an active state license to perform beauty services for compensation, and Made Glow verifies licensure at activation and on a recurring schedule.

We give partner schools an end-to-end post-graduation placement program: free Pro accounts for every licensed alum, a "New Grad" badge that drives matches in the consumer app, cohort onboarding sessions on campus (timed for the final term, when most students are sitting for their state board exam), and anonymous outcome reporting back to the school's career-services team. Students still in school can pre-register; their account stays in pending_license_issue until the state issues their license, at which point we run a Checkr background check and activate.

How partnerships work at Made Glow

Every partnership is built around the supply-side: we want more talented, properly-licensed beauty pros on the marketplace, and we want them to succeed. That means partnerships with us are usually structured around access (we give your community something they want — a Pro account, a placement program, a featured listing), education (we teach your community how the marketplace works, in your venue), and shared incentives (we make sure both sides benefit when the program produces real outcomes). We don't pay for empty endorsements and we don't pretend partnerships exist that haven't been signed.
