What's included in the price?
The price you see at booking is the all-in price for the service before tip. Specifically, it includes:
1. The service itself
The work performed — cut, color, manicure, facial, massage, etc. The Pro’s time is calculated from the moment they arrive at your address until they finish and pack up.
2. Travel within service area
Each Pro sets their own service area on their profile. Travel within that area is included — no extra fee for distance, fuel, or time. Outside the service area, a small travel surcharge may apply and is shown before you book. See what’s not included.
3. The Pro’s mobile kit
Whatever they bring to do their job at your address: portable shampoo bowls, LED nail lamps, massage tables, lash beds, magnifying lamps, ring lights, and the product range they use in their work.
4. Sanitization and single-use supplies
Disposable nail files, single-use gauze and applicators, fresh linens, sanitizing wipes — the Pro brings what their work requires.
5. Payment processing and platform fees
Stripe processing fees and Made Glow’s platform service fees are disclosed in the booking flow before you confirm. The breakdown is in the terms.
What about insurance?
Pros on Made Glow are independent contractors. They are responsible for carrying their own general-liability and professional-liability insurance. Made Glow does not provide, broker, or guarantee platform-funded liability insurance. See /safety and the Pro Agreement.
What’s NOT included
Tip (always optional, 100% goes to the Pro), parking outside the Pro’s service area, building-mandated fees at some hotels and condos, and specialty add-ons like custom hair color matching or extension tape replacement. Full breakdown: what’s NOT included in the price.
