Safety tips for in-home beauty services
Pros work at their own location, and pros who offer at-client service can come to you. Check the pro's profile and reviews, tell someone you trust about the appointment, keep your phone close, and call 911 in an emergency.
Before the booking
- Read the pro's profile and reviews. Clients rate pros on Quality of Service, Professionalism, Punctuality, and Communication.
- Look for the Licensed badge. A pro whose Florida license has been verified shows a Licensed badge on their profile. You can also look up Florida licenses on the DBPR website. More on licensing.
- Keep it in the app. Use the in-app chat for appointment details, and pay through Made Glow.
On the day
- Tell someone you trust the appointment time and your pro's name.
- Keep your phone with you, and call 911 in an emergency.
- If the pro is coming to you, set up a well-lit space, secure your pets, and put valuables away.
After
- Leave an honest review. It helps the next client. If you weren't happy.
- Report concerns. Use Report an issue on the booking screen or email [email protected]. How to report.
Insurance
Made Glow doesn't maintain insurance covering pros' services. Pros agree in the Pro Agreement to carry their own. More on insurance.
