What we delete & what we keep
✓ Permanently deleted
- Your name, email, and phone number
- Profile photo and uploaded reference photos
- Service addresses and saved locations
- In-app chat messages
- Reviews and ratings you wrote
- Saved payment-method tokens (cards on file)
- Notification preferences and device tokens
- For Pros: portfolio, license metadata, payout details
⏳ Retained as required by law
- Tax / accounting records — booking invoices and 1099 records held 7 years (IRS + Florida law)
- Background-check reports (Pros) — 7 years after account closure (FCRA)
- Open safety / fraud investigations — held until matter is resolved
- Encrypted backups — purge within 35 days of deletion

Timeline
- Within 24 hours. Your account is locked. You can no longer sign in.
- Within 7 days. Your profile is removed from the marketplace; pros can no longer see your bookings, and you can no longer be searched.
- Within 30 days. Personal data above is permanently deleted from our active databases.
- Within 35 days. Encrypted backups containing your data are purged on the standard rotation.
Before you go
Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. If you have an active booking, please cancel or complete it first — your Pro can no longer reach you after deletion. If you only want to take a break, you can email us to pause your account instead, which preserves your bookings, reviews, and saved pros.
