The role
You'll lead supply-side growth across the state of Florida. The Pro side of Made Glow is the supply side of a two-sided marketplace, and your job is to make sure every city we operate in has enough of the right Pros — across category, neighborhood, and price band — to deliver an excellent consumer experience.
- Build and run the Pro acquisition playbook. Sourcing, outbound, partnerships with cosmetology schools, referral programs.
- Own the verification funnel end-to-end — application, identity, license check, background screen, portfolio review, approval. Maintain the 4.5-star quality floor with re-screening cycles.
- Build the onboarding experience that turns a verified Pro into an active, earning Pro.
- Travel across Florida — meet Pros, host events, build the brand on the ground. This role is in Florida, not remote.
- Partner with product, marketing, and customer experience to ensure the Pro experience inside the app is the one we promise outside it.
About you
- 7+ years in marketplace, gig-economy, or service-platform operations, with at least 2 years owning supply growth in a regional or city-by-city context.
- You're already in Florida or willing to relocate. The job lives in the state.
- Comfortable building from a blank page — playbooks, outreach systems, partnership models, dashboards.
- Strong with people. You can recruit a stylist, run a partnership conversation with a salon owner, and brief our policy team on what you heard.
- Numerate. You know what your acquisition cost, conversion rate, and time-to-first-booking are at all times, and you can defend the numbers.
- Bias toward quality. Volume alone is the wrong metric — the right one is volume that converts and stays.
Bonus points
- You've launched a marketplace in a new city or region before.
- Background in beauty, salon operations, or licensed service industries.
- Built or scaled an independent contractor network of 1,000+.
- Experience working with regulators, state cosmetology boards, or background-check vendors.
Compensation
Equity in every offer plus competitive cash compensation. The cash range and equity grant are confirmed during the interview process so the conversation is grounded in your actual seniority and location, not a copy-paste range. Health, dental, vision, time off, hardware budget, and an annual company retreat are included.
